"The Speakeasy is a monthly event we hold the last Friday of every month where local elected officials and candidates come and speak. Last month Congressional District 24 candidate Suzanne Kosmos came to speak to us. In the past we've had the Mayor of Orlando and all the city commissioners, county commissioners, and state legislators come speak. On Friday June 27 we're having Orange County Sherriff Candidate Jerry Demings come speak. If elected, he'd be the first countywide elected official in Orange County history."
